How do you completely ruin any future viewings of Star Wars and simultaneously make it hilarious? Simple: Family Guy-afy it. The blend of blunt humour and the always great Star Wars story is great. The Family Guy cast member are perfectly placed in Star Wars rolls, and that’s clear from the start.

Something, Something, Something Dark Side.

Get ready to suck some Dak!

Family Guy’s Blue Harvest did something strange. It simultaneously made Star Wars hilarious and completely ruined the entire movie at the same time. That’s what ‘Something, something, something Dark side’ does too. The blend of brilliant Family Guy humour and a plot scratched down to just the essential scenes pans out fantastically. The new characters in the movie, notably Boba Fett, Lando and Yoda are all hilarious, much like the rest of the movie.

Best scene, and highlight of all three episodes:

It’s a Trap!

Oh God, we’re going to do Jedi, aren’t we?

Despite the opening crawl mentioning the team behind Family Guy were exhausted by the time they got round to doing ‘It’s a Trap!’ the episode is still as funny as the other two. The continuation of mocking every scene they can is still a working formula, so why change it?
